Senior Architectural Technologist

Ellis Hillman Partnership Ltd are seeking a full time Architectural Technologist with good all-round experience to join our busy office in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

​

We are a well-established architectural practice with a diverse portfolio working within several sectors, including Private and Public Housing, Commercial, Healthcare, Ecclesiastical, Education and Industrial. 

​

As a smaller, busy practice, we can offer architectural staff the ability to work on projects of varying sizes, sectors and architectural styles, whilst offering excellent hands-on project experience to help you progress with your experience and qualifications. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are technically proficient and committed to meeting project deadlines and practice standards to work on projects at all RIBA stages.

A working knowledge of UK Building Regulations is required and knowledge and experience of AutoCAD is essential. To the right candidate we will offer a competitive salary appropriate to the level of experience gained, with opportunities for career progression.

Requirements of the Senior Architectural Technologist:

• Degree in Architectural Technology or relevant qualification.

• At least 5 years of industry experience, ideally having operated at a senior level.

• Proven experience of working within the Residential sector.

• Site experience of inspecting projects during construction and contract management.

• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD software.

• Sound knowledge of UK Building Regs

• Candidates must be eligible to work within the UK, hold a UK valid driver’s license and have the use of a car.
